Glacier is a series of winter fishing rods for predator fishing from the ice, designed for fishing with a modern reels – spinning or ice special.
Glacier Type R – five models of different power, assembled length – from 65 to 70 cm. The handle is of universal length: it is convenient both for holding the tackle with pistol grip and when fishing in severe frost with gloves.
In 2022 Glacier series was updated: three new models Glacier Shorty, all rods are 58 cm long when assembled, handle is compact.
The main type of baits, for use with which the series was developed in the first place – vibration plugs. But, of course, this series has no problems with such classic winter baits as pilkers or jigging spoons.
Solid, it retains its working qualities when fishing in freezing temperatures, allows to fully control the bait animation and works perfectly on pulling the fish from depth with a reel. What is especially in demand when fishing from great depths.
Rings – high quality, lightweight, with durable and perfectly smooth inserts, suitable for the use of both monofilament nylon and fluorocarbon lines, as well as braided cords. Winding is bright red.

The main difference from the first generation: the blanks are improved taking into account modern trends – the size of lures increases in vertical fishing, fluorocarbon lines are used more often, which requires more rigid and powerful rods. And, of course, modern winter fishing makes serious requirements to durability, which is definitely not unnecessary on the ice!
Material of the handle is high-quality, warm and comfortable to the touch cork. A reel seat with a top scweing forgrip allows to install all major types of reels: modern specialized ice fishing multipliers, small spinning reels and, of course, the timeless classics – simply centerpin.
Thanks to the shortened handle, Glacier Shorty rods are especially convenient to hold with a “pistol grip”. And the relatively short overall length of the rod allows comfortable fishing while sitting on a crate or a chair.
One and a half part design – for transportation the handle is separated from the whip.
The lightest and most delicate model Glacier Shorty. Suitable for fishing in still waters and slow current. Reasonable maximum for baits is a little more than 20 g. A reasonable minimum is about 4 g.

The most powerful model in the line. Focus – catching quite large predators with the use of oversized vibration plugs up to 110 mm in length, large and heavy balanced ice jigs, on reservoirs with the current and in lakes without it, at different depths.
Sensitive and rigid blank does not bend when sharply animating such large baits, as well as at hookset. And at the same time it allows you to effectively wrestle a decent trophy, reducing the risk of breaking the line.
Suitable for fishing at relatively shallow depths in standing water and in a shallow parts of rivers. Good for all kinds of vibration plugsabout 70 mm in size.
This model will be appreciated by fishers who prefer hunts for pikeperch on light ice jigs and perch on balanced jigs with length from 50 mm. An excellent option for trout fishing.
The most versatile model. Works well with vibration plugs from 70 mm and perfectly copes with all 90-mm models . Holds weak and medium current.
Designed specifically for trout fishing. Light, very comfortable 70cm long rod is used for active fishing. Works comfortably with baits weighing up to 21gr. It has enough strength and power to withstand the bite of solid trout.
