Description

Frapp Rowdy Head Desription

Rowdy Head is a unique bait of the “ bucktail” type, with special noise slits in the head.

The entire design of the Frapp Rowdy Head is aimed at making the bait as visible as possible to both predators and real-time sonars:

A massive front part with shallow cavity and a voluminous natural bucktail with lurex and feather elements — during retrieval, this combination creates a powerful, noticeable impulse.
Noise holes, which, like gills, allow water to flow through them and create additional “non-standard” water vibrations.

The tail section is attached with a secure screw and comes equipped with a Frapp Tricky Tail 8″ as standard.

The Frapp Rowdy Head is equipped with an additional bottom loop, which allows you to quickly and conveniently attach weights, adjusting the weight of the lure to the fishing conditions and the predator’s mood.

Frapp Rowdy Head: how to use

Versatility is one of the main advantages of the Frapp Rowdy Head. By using different weights, you can achieve the desired sinking speed and retrieve the lure through the desired water horizon at the required animation rhythm.

You can easily change the tail section of the lure, using any soft lure that is suitable in size and geometry instead of the standard Frapp Tricky Tail.
When moving forward, water under pressure is pushed through the through-holes to the sides of the lure, creating additional turbulence — water vortices. This allows the pike to detect the lure using its lateral line from a greater distance, which is especially effective with jerk retrieval, fishing without real-time sonar, and in low water clarity.

Two main types of Rowdy Head animation

Try alternating or combining both retrieve methods to achieve maximum effectiveness:

  1. A steady retrieve through the water column or along the bottom.
  2. A jerking retrieve — alternating rod jerks and reeling in the line. As practice shows, in many cases this type of retrieve is the most effective for this class of lures.
